Lisha, Office Manager
Lisha graduated from Hesser Business College with an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science. She has been working in the dental field for over 17 years and her experience processing dental claims allows her to assist patients to maximize their benefits. She works with patients that may need guidance navigating through financial options and has extensive knowledge having worked with both Care Credit and Cherry Financing over the years. When Lisha is not in the office she spends her time with her two daughters, Megan and Molly, often traveling together and in the Spring of 2023 she welcomed her first grandson! In addition to reading books, camping, kayaking, hiking and snow shoeing, Lisha and her partner John enjoy their shared interests of attending concerts, travelling and spending quality time with their growing families.
John, Dental Hygienist
John is a father of two growing up kids, is a native to New Hampshire and has been a hygienist for over 20 years. When he’s not dancing along teeth he likes to dabble in woodworking, fix old sewing machines and prevent his two yellow labs from creating any more havoc.
Jen, Dental Hygienist
Jen, one of our dental hygienists, has been with Applewood Family Dentistry since January of 2017. She graduated from the University of New England and has been practicing for 19 years. She and her hubby have lived here in Barrington for the past 11 years. They have four children (two sets of twins) that keep them busy and a little bit crazy. When she’s not scrubbing teeth or taking care of kiddos she enjoys outside activities, scrapbooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Makayla, Dental Assistant
Makayla started as a student at Applewood Family Dentistry and joined the team as a dental assistant in the summer of 2024. She excels in providing our patients with a calming dental experience while working alongside our doctors. When she is not in the office, you can find her reading, hiking with her pack of wiener dogs (Dachshunds) and enjoying time with her family.
Leah, Dental Assistant
Leah, a Barrington native, has been a Dental Assistant since 2017. She enjoys making the dental experience more comfortable with patients, expanding her knowledge and working as a team to provide excellent dental care. When she is not in the office, you can find her relaxing with her cat Joplin, reading, baking or enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking and camping with family and friends.
